Macscripter's AppleScript FAQ is a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions based on a simple Q&A format, split into several sub-categories. We have attempted to cover as many scripting related questions as possible. However, if you have suggestions for new questions that we should post, please feel free to submit it to JJ.

If you have more specific AppleScript or application-related questions, please post them to our Bulletin Board System. This system is host to thousands of AppleScript developers who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

What you can do with AppleScript is mainly limited to the amount of AppleScript support that software companies provide in their applications. Sometimes it's hard to determine the amount of AppleScript support available in an application. It is our hope this list will help those considering purchase of software and/or maintaining updates for the same.

Currently, this list is limited to applications that we have access to. Please help us expand this section by submitting information and dictionaries for other scriptable applications. If you are able to submit a dictionary for an application we don't have listed, please contact us to discuss submission.
