CLImax is an AppleScript command-line interface (CLI) for the Mac OS from 1996. It was designed to run on System 7.5, and appears to work fine under Mac OS 9.2.2, even running under Classic.
CLImax makes it easy to run single-line script commands. It also remembers variables and functions, so you can build up a library of useful tricks and easily automate common tasks.
It's now freeware. If you would like a Mac OS X version, please visit the homepage and email the author. Clicks: 32
