I’d check out Sqllite if I were you, it is delivered with every Mac, and that is what database events uses. It has a good commandline, and many users, so there should be easy to find tutorials and the like.

databases in Yosemite have/need a location property. Maybe that’s the reason why they seem to be empty
That could be it with the ‘location’ property. Maybe when creating the database, you need to add a location property. Maybe that’s why I’m getting the error. I’m quite sure the in previous os’s it would use the default ‘location’.
