Identifying Microsoft 365 accounts

March is almost over. I just installed the latest and greatest Outlook. And no dice:

Which Outlook interface are you using?

New Outlook or Old Outlook?
It matters.

Your script works for me with old Outlook interface.

For New Outlook AppleScript support was supposed to be available this month. Again it’s not.

One of many reasons I only use Old Outlook.
Microsoft sucks

The MS roadmap site says Applescript will be implemented in New Outlook, date: Nov. '23. BTW, I couldn’t use Safari there, I had to use Chrome.

Hi All,
do you know if New Outlook applescript will available this month?

Thanks

Microsoft has announced AppleScript support for New Outlook for the last 3 years or so. Every time there is no change. So I’m not optimistic.

Hi,
Microsoft keeps AppleScript support for November 2023. Do you have any new news?

Version 16.80 (23112210) from today still doesn’t support any account in AppleScript. I don’t see any progress.

Even the latest “New Outlook” 16.82 beta does not support AppleScript

This is in 14 months. Incredible and depressing.

As the planned release date has already been postponed several times, I am not confident that it will actually be met in December 2025.

The lack of Applescript support for the “new Outlook” is causing us increased support costs and frustration among our customers.

It’s costing me money because my app needs AppleScript to work. Some companies have mandated the use of “New Outlook” and the users can’t go back.

As you can see it here, the release date postponed every year :frowning:
