I did some testing with four of the scripts above and I found that once I drilled down 3 levels below the target folder (with multiple selections in at least 2 such folders), each of the scripts was inconsistent unless the ‘activate/selection’ lines were added. Unfortunately, that consistently added between 1.5 and 2 seconds to each script’s run time. On the positive side, they were all consistently successful when those two lines were added. So, while I’m glad that my script works, it is quite unexceptional.
