Was playing around trying to get the issue identified and started getting additional errors, from the backup software as well. Did an Apple’s Disk Utility check for errors on the external drive and came away with error, after error, after error. So, my issues are not with the script, or the backup software, but hardware failures. I’ve got extra SSD units that I’ll try tomorrow morning. Thanks, but I no longer think this is connected to the script.
Morning update: Faulty SSD was changed out, new backups run, scripts run with success!
