Address Book + Finder(Spotlight) + Mail

Never scripted before, so as I start to do some research I thought I’d crowdsurf this first.

Not sure if automator or apple script is better to use (or are they the same thing?)!

I’d like to stamp each contact with (Date of Last Communication) so that smart folders can make sure no one gets left behind.

Here’s my plan so far for the script:

-Address Book: Get Highlighted contact name
-Finder: use contact name (ie, Spotlight)
-Finder: Kind : Other : Mail
-Find : Latest email
-Save Date of last email as a field I’ve created (which is a date) “Last:” [MM/DD/YYYY]

That’s it. Any suggestions, love to hear them.
