Is the Latin-Cyrillic translation in Satimage osax or any other translation 100% right? If not I was thinking about the different dialects again.

It’s not a translation – it’s a transliteration, which is what the OP asked for. Dialects are irrelevant unless you really want translations. And translating names is likely to result in nonsense, regardless of what you use.

It can be – in many cases it’s a relatively simple process. You’re still think about translation, which is a different thing. This is from the ICU:

Script Transliteration is the general process of converting characters from one script to another. For example, it can convert characters from Greek to Latin, or Japanese katakana to Latin. The user must understand that script transliteration is not translation. Rather, script transliteration it is the conversion of letters from one script to another without translating the underlying words.
