As many of you probably know, the debugger built into XCode doesn’t work for Applescript applications (v2.x + 3.x OS X 10.4, 10.5). Some of my very large apps are nearly impossible to debug because they are so reliant on UI elements that can’t easily be test-recoded just so I can use Script Debugger to debug them. I bet the same goes for some of you too.
The only way stuff like this big omission gets fixed is for users to tell Apple about it, so they see it does affect a large number of users.
Please take a couple minutes to file a bug report with Apple, or if you’re not a registered developer at least submit a feature request that Xcode be fixed so the debugger works for Applescript.
