Hi
Does anyone know how to (or even if you can) create a text box in Freehand 10 (OS X) using AppleScript and then stick some text in it.

I’ve had a look in the Dictionary for FH10 but can’t see anything that looks like it will do the trick

Scripting text boxes in Freehand is no easy task. When I was looking into it I found this site:

Click on “Tips” and then “Scripting Freehand”. Then look for the “FAQs” link. While it is actually possible, I decided it was too much trouble and used Illustrator instead. Scripting Illustrator is very straight forward and powerful.
