The Applescript Primer

Here's another great site with helpful Applescript info that no longer exists: The Applescript Primer, by Bill Briggs.  Apparently Macworld took down the link very recently.  Another one bites the dust!

However, in the same spirit, Bill's Broom, a script for arranging your desktop, has a column of it's own in Deborah Shadovitz' Mac Efficiency's section of OS 9 columns, ME101.  While the script was for OS 9, I've tried it in OS X (Tiger) and recording the actions doesn't seem to work (sadly).

I distrust morning people, largely because I suspect them of getting together early one day while the rest of us were asleep and setting up the rules of civilization.
