A script that detects a connected external storage media

Hi All!

I wanted to create a script that will automatically detect if an external storage media is connected, and hopefully it will email the details to me.

How can I do this? Any ideas? Though I already have created several applescipts, I still refer myself as a novice applescripter.

Perhaps you can modify it to your needs?
