Akuasweets "Adjust the Clock" general ?'s

Now that I’ve figured out how to utilize “adjust the clock to date X” I was wondering if somebody could explain to me how and why the delta parameter works. I’ve played with it, but I don’t understand what it’s supposed to do. Can’t find docs on the web about it.
adjust the clock: Get location and/or set the macintosh date to a new value relative to the current date or absolute. --How do you get info from the command, btw?
adjust the clock [to date] – The absolute date you wish to place in the system’s clock. --OK, I understand how to use this one (^-)
[delta integer] – Add this value to the current date - use negative values to subtract from current date. Defaults to seconds. [minute units boolean] – The delta is in minutes. [hour units boolean] – The delta is in hour units. --nope, don’t get it at all. (-
-)
[at geoposition Geographic Location Rec] – The machine location you wish to set. Result: Geographic Location Rec – The machine location before any adjustment was done. --This is a mystery as well. What is it used for?
Thanks for all that reply.

When you use the delta parameter rather than the “to” parameter you adjust the Mac’s internal clock to the current date/time plus or minus the number of seconds you enter after the “delta”. If you set the minutes or hours boolean to true it uses those units instead of seconds.

If you look at the map control panel you’ll see that your location is set as a latitude and longitude. This helps to determine your time zone.
