The readers of this post are likely better versed in AppleScript than I… and thus, I figured I would bring my dilemma before the experts.
I am looking for one familiar enough with the AIM protocol to create an AppleScript that would log sign-on and sign-off times for Buddies on one’s list—I am aware that certain scripts are included with the Macintsoh messenger, but the script that claims to do just this (log sign-on and sign-off times) does not. At any rate, might there be an expert somewhere out there with a willing heart and an allowing schedule to perhaps lend some aide in my direction?

I too explored AIMs scripting capabilities. I’ve come up with a script that logs who signed on and off at what time. If you don’t mind putting up with very crude code and limited documentation, It’s yours. If you are at all interested, please send me an e-mail to remind me to packadge it up for you and send it off.
