I run a post production studio with alot of freelance editors working
on low res footage at home who send me their Final Cut project files
once they finish their jobs. The footage they work on is mirrored in
high resolution on our server at the office. I want to be able to
automatically master their projects when they upload them to our FTP
site so that the high resolution masters are MPEG2 files ready to burn
to DVD as soon as i get into work each morning. It would also be a bonus if these files could be automatically output to MP4 so I can check them over the web anywhere in the world. Is this a job for
Applescript? If so do u know of where I could find anyone who is
already doing this?
