I haven’t closely looked at the requirements for apps submitted to the app store, but my impression was that you couldn’t have apps that installed something after the app store put it on your computer. I see that Ben Waldie has his Text Automator actions on the App store now and from the description, it seems that you must download it, use an installer to install the actions, and manually do this again whenever there are updates to the actions. I thought the App store requirements prohibited this type of app.
How does this work? ApplescriptObjC app which acts as an installer for the actions?
