I’m using Hazel to set up a script that will rename any Music file to audio.wav and then I plan to convert it using FFMPEG. But I’m stuck at the rename stage. It doesn’t seem to do anything and the log isn’t reporting any errors. The file is triggering the action but the file is never renamed
Things I’ve tried:
- Turned on full disk access
- Tried doing something other than Rename (make an alias) and it worked
- Tried typing the text in directly and tried tokens
I’m using Hazel because I want to use folder actions on a folder where the file will be overwritten and with a search, it seems Folder actions doesn’t do that. So if I’m wrong about that, it might simplify the issue
