I want to change the value for when the display goes to sleep. Typically I think that is done using pmset, but changing that (using do shell script) requires root, that is, entering a password. Is there a way to get around that? Or using some other method than pmset?
You needy to use poset, but you can do it from AppleScript using a “do shell script” command with the username and password of an administrator account
