I’m another newbie with a question. I’m trying to write a script (mac os 9) that will detect image resolution (less than 300dpi) of jpegs, tiffs and photoshop EPS files. I’d like to have the script do this without having to open the image. Is this possible with applescript? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this with Photoshop 6.0 or 7.0 or Quark since these images are placed in Quark 4.1. I also want the script to copy and paste the file names of the images whos resolution is less than 300 dpi to a text file.
