executing an applescript with a shortcut

hello all,

I’ve been ‘playing’ with entourage’s scripts, and noticed the way to add a shortcut to each script (just add moT - command + option + T - for example).

Well, this is excelent and works great in this situation (where the app has a scripts menu).

So, my question is how to have a shortcut that lauches an applescript, in an app that has no scripts menu?

(is this also possible to do in OS X’s ‘general’ scripts menu?)

Go to your Keyboard Control Panel and assign it a Function Key.

I wouldn’t like to use that method, since many apps have their own Fuction key shortcut already assigned, and so I’ve turned the keyboard panel off…
