Folder Actions disable on restart...why?

Please can someone tell me if I’m missing something.

I recently had to re-install my system (Tiger).

Then I attached my folder actions to the relavent folders.

Now I find that I have to re-enable folder actions every time I restart the Mac.
The folder action then works OK and I do not have to re-attach them. Its just that folder actions are disabled on restart.

Why is this happening as I am sure that this never happened before I re-install my system.

Thanks for any help

Have you run this script: /Library/Scripts/Folder Actions/Enable Folder Actions.scpt or are you saying that you have to run it every time?

I have to run the script every time I restart the Mac.

hi tim,

have you tried running ‘Repair Permissions’ from the Disk Utility on this computer?
