format of message in Mail

Hi scripters,

Is any way get to know the format of selected message in Mail.app?
If it is Plain Text then the message should be converted into RTF, if it’s already RTF, nothing to do.

Hi,

there are two problems.

¢ A message with rich text format is actually not RTF, it’s HTML. You can check this reading the raw source (⌥⌘U). In a plain text format message the HTML part is missing.
¢ A received message can’t be converted into a different format

If you want to convert messages to RTF, use Andreas Amann’s mail scripts
