How do I get a script to run every five minutes?

How do i get a script to run aobut every 5 mins to refresh the contents of a folder when the window is open. I want this so i do not have to click or reopen the window to see what faxes have come into to this folder. Just look across the room to the monitor to see if any have arrived. I dont what an alert. Just the window to show the correct contents of the folder

This might work (untested), although the script might need to work on items in the folder and not just the folder. Save as a stay open application and launch by double clicking its icon.

on idle
	tell application "Finder" to update folder "path:to:folder:"
	return (5 * minutes)
end idle
