how to get the file path in the terminal automaticly

Hello,

asked this before on the forum (and searched on the forum for a possible sollution, but still have no clue)

It will be a part of a automator script. What I want is that the user selects a folder with in it compressed tga.gz files. Then the terminal must open atomaticly and then paste automaticle the the following;

cd FILE PATH OF SELECTED FOLDER BY USER

so with cd before.

Hopefully some knows what I mean to say and hopefully has a sollution for this one.
