Hi
I’m trying to have a PDF when placed into my doc be trimmed to the bleed or the art, with out much success,
I have this piece of code which doesn’t seem to work, I can’t locate anything else to help with trying to
get this to work either, could some one please help out here.

set PDF crop bounds of PDF file options of settings to PDF bleed box

The scripting guide says
I’ll have to check but I recall this being wrong in the scripting documents and that it only applies to opening a *.pdf file. Not both like it says. Same for JS too

that may explain a few things, do you no if a work around available?
I think the workarounds are to open as separate document then dupe across. or open using media and move the masking first path item of the group.
the problem I have had with opening the file and then placing is that I get missing fonts or images etc, so this doesn’t
really work overly well for me, shame
