Jon's Commands and Intel Macs

Does the Jon’s Commands osax work on Intel Macs?

I have a script that uses it, and when I recompile it, Script Editor refuses to recognize the “keys pressed” command. Yet if I open the scripting addition dictionary, it displays as expected.

Model: Macbook
AppleScript: 1.10.7
Browser: Safari 420) OmniWeb/v605
Operating System: Mac OS X (10.4)

Jon’s Commands (according to Jon Pugh, the author) has not been updated to Intel Macs for the simple reason that he doesn’t have one.

For that purpose you may look at “Extra Suites” (www.osaxen.com or here)

tell application "Extra Suites" to set Keys_Pressed to es keys down

Thanks! I’d forgotten that Extra Suites had that same capability.

Someone should buy Jon a Macbook.
