Move and Resize Active App

The shortcut included below moves and resizes the frontmost app to the values specified in the Dictionary action. If an app is not in the dictionary, a default value is used.

I had earlier included this shortcut in my Learning Shortcuts thread, but macOS 15.2 broke that. The reason for this is not clear, but the fix was to initialize the activeApp variable and to set it to the Nothing action.

The following screenshot only shows the first section of the shortcut.

In macOS 15.2 there is new shortcut “Get Current App”, it could be very helpful in your shortcut.

Thanks Pietruszex–that works great. I’ve revised my shortcut to incorporate the Get Current App action. It’s really neat that Apple is doing so much to improve the Shortcuts app.
