Hey all:
Not sure where this should go… I need a fairly simple script written, but cannot manage it myself. It’s to process images for use on our website.
If there is a better place to post this please let me know… as it’s not obvious where this might go.
The details are:
One image gets turned into three.
The first version is 650px width or height (it needs to determine whether it’s a horizontal or vertical) those need a suffix of _ss
The second is 300px width or height (it needs to determine whether it’s a horizontal or vertical) those need a suffix of _sb
The third is fixed 145wx106hpx, needs to “center crop” and would need a suffix of _mcrt
All three images would be saved into a specific folder called RESIZED or something snappy like that.
I would give each of the contributors a copy of the script to run from their machines.
I’ve found some bits and pieces online that will do various parts of it, but nothing that will both resize longest side, rename AND handle the center cropping…
