Newbie Dialog Director question

I’m putting together some simple scripts for a school lab using Dialog Director. Is it necessary to install the Dialog Director files on all of the Mac’s in the lab in order for the scripts that I develop function properly?

If it’s not required, is there a procedure to have the script run as a stand-alone applet?

Thanks,

Mike

YES. It does exist, though, a hack called “Applet Binder”, which allows you to embed the osaxen in your applet (applescript standalone application). Look here:
http://www.macscripter.net/tools/
(it does not work with any scripting addition, though, just test it)

Save as “application” (and use later Applet Binder, if it does work).
