PICT Question

I think I may be out of luck on this one, but I will give MacScripter visitors a shot. I am have created a color palette for use with a series of FileMaker pro databases and I want ot allow users to preview custom color blends on screen without using image editing software to create a preview image to place in the database.

I am hoping it is possible to write a script that will convert CMYK values to PICT data in order to either (a) create a 1 pixel X 1 pixel image to be written to a PICT file or set a container field in FileMaker Pro to that data. Is this even possible? Is there a scripting addition that will do this?

Thanks.
Scott

Well, just in case anyone is interested, I found the solution to my problem. There is a great product from Art Age (www.artage.com) called EPStoPICT that creates a pict file of any EPS. My FileMaker color palette can now generate a 2 pixel X 2 pixel EPS file, convert it to PICT and place the preview swatch in a container field. The colors are then available for use in any related database.

If anyone is interested in this tool email me and I will send you a copy. You will need to purchase the Art Age EPS Suite ($49) but it has four great pieces of software for performing various tasks with EPS files.
