For solving issue that SmartAlbums don’t transfer to iOS devices

AFAIK a photo in a smart album has to exist in a regular album. So, copying a photo in a smart album to its corresponding regular album would not seem to accomplish anything. Do I not understand something?
An alternative approach in an AppleScript might be to get all photos that match the condition of the smart album. For example, if the condition of the smart album is that the photo is a favorite, then the script to get these photos would be as shown below.
