A script to presort a large folder into multiple 4.38 gig limited folders?
I have a lot of data that I need to burn to dvd’s… I don’t mind the burning part since I can do other thigns during that but I tend to end up sorting for the next DVD while burning the current.
If I had a script that I could drop a largely filled folder onto and it would (inside that folder) sort the contents into as many folders needed but limited to the maximum size of 4.38 gig (toast safety size).
The folders would have to have a naming structure like “Audio-Project-A1-012206” then “Audio-Project-A2-012206” and so on.
If I had that I’d save me alot of time.
Anyone know of a script like that or if it seems easy could anyone write one like that?
