I deperatly need to script a non scriptable (french) accounting application. It appears to provide non scripting interface.
Is there any (even vague) possibility of me finding a way to automate the mindlessly repetative tasks we have to do in it or should I just give up ?
I thought maybe there was some clever way like scripting timbuk2 to pilot it… ?
I don’t think you can find a better way to script non-scriptable applications than PreFab Player. I have used it for several clients. The site for the PreFab folks is http://www.prefab.com/.
The secret to its success is that it scripts the Macintohs interface rather than screen coordinates. I think they have a free downloadable demo.
