I was wondering if I was to set a folder as a variable in AS, if could I search for a file/folder in that folder? The file/folder’s name would be known and I would have to search multiple variables (folders). Then duplicate it to another folder.
The question stems from a never-ending project I am working on. To set up a collection complement to our FileMaker Pro server.
The easiest way for me to picture the work flow is to have the user choose the folders for the script to look in for the files. These folders would be set as variables and could be searched.

I was able to join the two and I have a “working” base to create a bigger, badder script. It was one of those “Eureka!” days!
