Snow Leopard questions

Now that Snow Leopard/AppleScriptObjC is out, are any of these doable using AppleScript:

-get event notification when file is modified or when network has aquired good ip or lost it or when app launches or quits or crashes?

-is console.log now real log-file like it was before Leopard or is it still same what it was in Leopard? I would like to save console.log daily so i can find some information from it once a week.

-use Core Data

Thanks

Guessing that since Applescript ObjC gives you access to basically all the frameworks, that Core Data would certainly be doable. Not sure about the others, as they would require more knowledge than I have of Cocoa.
