Tip: scrolling text through QuickTime

Hi!
Scrolling text is sometimes a must-have. Here is a sample to create it.
The stuff is: you write some text to a file, then tell QuickTime to open such file (or you can use it in any interface capable of embed quicktime stuff, such as a quicktime containers in AppleScript Studio).

I think all tags are self-explaining in this example. More info on this QTtext format here: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/QuickTime/REF/refDataExchange.6.htm

More power, using the SMIL format, here: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/QuickTime/IQ_InteractiveMovies/quicktimeandsmil/index.html

JJ,

This sounds pretty cool! I created a text document using your example and everything works except the text doesn’t show up. Any ideas what might be causing this to fail?

Edit: Never mind. Safari added some garbage. It works fine! Thanks for sharing this - I wasn’t aware of this capability.
