TUTORIAL : Cocoa - Using Refactoring to change what you don't like.

Xcode - Refactoring is easier to use than you think, it is powerful, and very, very cool…

This is a two part tutorial, but this is only part one, when I get the second part done I will post it.

It only consists of ( 12 ) images and about a page of text.

It shouldn’t take but four or five minutes. It is really simple and powerful…

Anyway as always, this works very well for me, so I thought I’d share it.

I had done this tutorial originally when I was fairly tired, and bleary eyed, so I missed a few key points.

I never proof read, just a bad habit, so I always end up catching stuff afterwards. I think that because I am generally so tired when I get done with one of these, all I want to do is get rid of it…

I tend to work straight through sometimes for 14-15 hours, sometimes for a couple of days at a time, so when I am close to done, I find myself racing to get it finished.

The next day I think to myself, I ought to read it from beginning to end, and see what bufoonery I can find, and I am never disappointed, I always find it in abundance…

Anyway, that being said, I added several screen captures, and explained some things better than before. The most important thing I covered are the automatic snapshots, and recovery, etc.

I hope you will find the screen captures, and text much improved.

Hope this is useful…
